John Hinderaker adds this to Obama/Ayers revelations from Stanley Kurtz:

Note, too, that there is a straight line between Jeremiah "God damn America" Wright and Bill "fight American repression" Ayers. Obama would have us believe that he wouldn't have listened approvingly to Wright preaching against America. But Kurtz's work confirms that he not only listened to "God damn America" rhetoric, he funded it to the tune of many millions of dollars.

Kurtz's research exposes Obama statements as lies, his associations suspect and goals radical, and his primary "executive experience" a failure.

So telling in this is how badly the American people, and even Obama, have been served by the national media. It, with its now legendary vetting process - out there even now scouring Alaska's underbelly - have been putting off Obama's vetting since the beginning.

Kurtz had to pretty much go it alone, and was denied acess to public documents along the way, to investigate matters of great significance for a presidential candidate, and publish the important and relevent findings in a column. In a just world, Kurtz is hailed the embodiment of high journalistic standards.

Then again, who am I kidding?
