NoDak Chokes

I can't believe it. NoDak choked. They lose 6-4 to Boston College.

For the first time since 2001, the national championship will be won by a non-WCHA team. Incidentally, Boston College was the last non-WCHA team to win that title and are likely to do it again.

Congratulations to Michigan State and coach Rick Comley though. I got to meet him when I attended his hockey school in the late 1980s and he is a stand up guy and excellent coach. Then, he was the coach at the University of Northern Michigan.

Since I despise all things eastern hockey, I will root for Michigan tomorrow, even though I don't think they have much of a chance.
