Thanks to Chad's WSJ subscription, we get to follow the natural progression of Nancy Pelosi's Syrian Vacation from "foolish" to "disgraceful," to felonious:
The "Logan Act" makes it a felony and provides for a prison sentence of up to three years for any American, "without authority of the United States," to communicate with a foreign government in an effort to influence that government's behavior on any "disputes or controversies with the United States."
I guess we'll soon find out how important "rule of law" and "separation of powers" are to Democrats. There is no gray area here (think Libby). Pelosi has violated a specific law designed to keep legislators from undermining the executive branch, which, come to think of it, is exactly what she is up to.
I can hardly wait to hear the defense.
