The latest Upsider. Call it sick and tired of responses like this:
Global warming is a fact, not a theory...While President Bush and some persons for religious reasons (bad theology) believe that global warming maybe a hoax perpetrated by scientists and environmentalist (e.g. Paul Douglas, WCCO meteorologist), it is a little like saying that a politician knows more about medicine than a doctor at the Mayo Clinic.
And especially this:
The position of the staff reporter of the Post Review is more about political ideology than about the common good...This is a serious public health issue that should be addressed by all levels of government and not be subject to the whim of ideologues and a few bar and restaurant owners.
Then I remembered seeing this from a year ago:
The letter to the editor...was a personal attack, confusing and an attempt to stifle criticism in a manner more consistent with fascist governments of Latin American dictators than what we expect in this country...I would also encourage the Post Review in the interest of civility, not to publish personal attacks, a policy that the major papers in Minnesota subscribe.
What's good for the goose, right?
