If Americans cut back their work hours to match those of their counterparts in Europe, this country would consume 20 percent less energy, according to "Are Shorter Work Hours Good for the Environment?"
There it is. The answer to global warming is to become lazy government-subsidy-addicted losers with double-digit unemployment like in Europe.
Consider it the bastard son of the give-more-money-to-the-government solution. So, whether you decide to give more or take home less, the bottom line is global warming won't be solved until every American makes a firm commitment to poverty.
