Living in a Nuclear Material World

Tim Blair has the relevent paragraph from a NYT story today that confirms the existence of a WMD program in Iraq:

Among the dozens of documents in English were Iraqi reports written in the 1990’s and in 2002 for United Nations inspectors in charge of making sure Iraq abandoned its unconventional arms programs after the Persian Gulf war. Experts say that at the time, Mr. Hussein’s scientists were on the verge of building an atom bomb, as little as a year away.

Apparently it is now okay to admit that there were indeed WNDs in Iraq, as long as the context is blaming Bush.

In other news, in a season of endorsements, the Democrats get one every American should consider carefully before voting:

The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are "tired."

"Of course Americans should vote Democrat," Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, told WND.

A vote for a Democrat is a vote for jihadist victory. At least, that's the way jihadists feel about it.
