John Kerry Apologizes For the Troops

At long last, John Kerry has issued an apology:

I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform, and I personally apologize to any service member, family member, or American who was offended.

Of course, he isn't apologizing for his cruel characterization of American troops in harm's way. Rather, he is apologizing for how his words were interpreted. Of course, much of that interpretation wcame from American troops in the first place. Then, he apologizes to any "service member, family member, or American," who was offended by the interpretation.

You hear that troops? John Kerry just apologized for you, not to you.
