Durbin Gets Good Press on Al Jazeera

Senator Dick "Turban" Durbin is getting some great press on Tuesday's remarks comparing America to a Nazi regime, from Al Jazeera. Following up on the theory of yesterday, Turban has cemented his place on the Soros campaign finance recipient list of honor by refusing to apologize and even going further Wednesday night.

"This administration should apologise to the American people for abandoning the Geneva Conventions and authorising torture techniques that put our troops at risk and make Americans less secure."

Turban either has absolutely no ideas what the Genevea Convention is, or does not mind one wit that detainees forfeited those protections. He has "abandoned" all sense of reality on this subject and the voters of Illinois should be outraged. The man is no longer fit to serve.

Surprisingly, Al Jazeera was actually quite fair in this version of the article. At least, much more so than Turban has been towards the U.S. military. Of course, he has lowered that bar so much over the last 48 hours that just about anything would qualify as fair.
