ON FRIDAY, HILLARY CLINTON proved once again that Democrats have no memory, when she blamed the Bush Administration for the possibility that North Korea could reach the northwestern US with an ICBM. (hat-tip Armandt)

"They couldn't do that when George Bush became president, and now they can," Mrs. Clinton complained to the New York Times.

She might not have been born yesterday, but I think we can pin the date somewhere after 1999, when this was discovered:

North Korea first obtained the capacity to develop nuclear weapons under her husband's administration, which actually gave Kim Jong Il nuclear technology in exchange for the promise that he would not make weapons.

My guy Armandt puts that in perspective with previous administrations:

The Clinton-Gore fiasco went against nine previous U.S. administrations in 1994 and made North Korea not only the largest recipient of U.S. Foreign Aid in the Asia-Pacific, but they stipulated that aid would primarily fund the construction of nuclear reactors worth up to $6 Billion.

At the time of the revelation that Clinton had handed the keys to Armageddon to a tyrannical dictator, the House N. Korea Advisory Group warned:

North Korea would soon be able to hit the U.S. with ICBMs - and blamed the Clinton administration for facilitating Pyongyang's progress.

I guess they were right after all.

I wonder if Hillary can find a way to blame Bush for failing to stop her husband from creating this crisis?

Seems Slick Willy has a lot to blame on the... uh... bush.

Maybe if he had been doing his job, rather than the intern, we might not be having this problem today.

It just goes to show that democrats try so hard to change history, even if we lived through it...
