BILL CLINTON BACK-HANDED HIS OWN PARTY today by becoming yet another in a stream of reasonable voices sure to make his moonbat supporters' heads explode.

"The Sunnis and the Shiites, the Kurds and all the various tribes can work out accommodations that will allow them to build a stable society, I think that will be good for Iraq and good for the Middle East," Clinton said at the end of a two-day visit to Denmark.

It just goes to show how narrow the Democratic Party has become since Slick Willy was president. Like so many others before him, Truman, JFK, even FDR, there seems to be little place left for Democrats who believe in national security and the ability of America to spread freedom and democracy. Unlike most modern liberals, who are still obsessed with WMD, Clinton appears able to function cognitavely.

"There is no point living in the past," Clinton said. "Look at where we are now. Everyone, all freedom-loving people would be better off with a genuinely representative, effective, free government in Iraq whatever your feelings are about what went on before."

A few more statements like this and he will be forced out of his own party. Can you imagine Bill...a Republican?
