Obama's Privacy Invaded!

Clarence Page becomes the latest fool to fall for the delusion that facts regarding Joe the Plumber's life have anything to do with Obama's "share the wealth" moment. But this statement has to be the pinnacle of stupidity:

Obama's conversation with Joe predictably hit the Internet and the conservative talk show circuit. This is, after all, the YouTube era. What we used to call privacy is now only footage that has not yet been broadcast.

Obama, I guess, has a right to privacy on the campaign trail for public office. I wonder if Page would feel the same way if Obama had hit the answer out of the park instead of swallowing his own foot.

I can only come up with one answer that explains the modern American pundits' continuing to embrace such foolish notions. They think we are idiot enough to buy it.
