Mike Hoeffel, you too are a beautiful, beautiful, man.
Hoeffel was the Gophers offense tonight, scoring both goals including a double bank shot from the goal line to beat CC in OT:
Hoeffel, deep on the left side, centered the puck. It appeared to hit a defenseman's skate and then ricochetted off the back of CC goalie Richard Bachman.
And, yes, the Gophers live to fight another day; this time against DU for the WCHA championship.
It's the craziest damn season I can remember.
