The Un-Scandal

Regarding the Libby conviction, Joseph Wilson, and Niger, Mark Steyn is not seeing the forest for the trees:

The real scandal has always been that the world’s most lavishly endowed intelligence agency’s idea of an investigation is flying in a politically-motivated tourist for a long weekend.

Since the only goal of Wilson's trip was to use the power of the CIA to embarrass the Bush administration, it's not a scandal, it's mission accomplished.
