If you're a conservative who has done anything to indicate you are gay, at any point in your past, prepare to be gleefully outed from one end of the country to the other. Shades of Jeff Gannon, Matt Sanchez' personal life is being smeared because he was involved with gay porn over ten years ago. He responds:
Why did I become a conservative? Just look at what I left, and look at who is attacking me to today? Let’s face it people, you’re all cynical enough to know that if I had espoused liberal causes, spoken out against the military, got a liberal award for courage and then outed with a porn-past, you’d be clamoring for my memoir, and nominating me for a diversity ticket with Barack Obama.
On the other hand, if you are a former president of the Virginia chapter of the ACLU who has championed access to porn in public libraries, and are caught with images of bound toddlers screaming while they are being violently raped, expect that the media will do everything in its power to protect you.
The double standard of tolerance makes me sick. If you say the right things, any behavior is excusable. Say the wrong things and you will be ripped for any deviation from the norm. Like Cpl. Sanchez, one need look no further to discover why I will never again be aligned with "progressives." Hyenas, that's what they are.
UPDATE: In other out-the-gay-Republican news, ABC has won an award for outing Mark Foley. That reminds me, has Foley ever been charged with any crime? I mean, other than being gay and Republican?
