Along with showing McCain and Frist the door this morning, Hugh Hewitt pins down a sentiment that has been rattling around in my own head since last night:
For two years we have had to defend the Congressional gang that couldn't shoot straight. Now we get to play offense.
In some ways it is a relief. I look forward to turning the tables on Democrats. Nothing serious or anything. I just intend to hold them to the same impossible standard they set forth over the last two years.
