The Religion of Peace

Just Say No To Socialist Liberals has quite a collection of Koran quotes at her site. I thought I would focus on those regarding terrorism specifically.

Bukhari:V4B52N220 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror.’”

Qur’an 8:12 “I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and His Apostle.”

Qur’an 8:57 “If you gain mastery over them in battle, inflict such a defeat as would terrorize them,so that they would learn a lesson and be warned.”

Qur’an 8:67 “It is not fitting for any prophet to have prisoners until he has made a great slaughter in the land.”

Ishaq:588 “When the Apostle descends on your land none of your people will be left when he leaves.”

Ishaq:327 “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”

I might be a total idiot, but it is my understanding that the Koran was written long before the invasion of Iraq.

The quotes above are the proverbial tip of the iceberg. Pay Jenn a visit and read the whole list.

The useful idiots on the left would have us believe that we must suffer a defeat in Iraq in order to stop terrorism. Or, that we should never have gone there in the first place. It might be the Amber Bock talking, but that is just about the stupidest thing I have ever heard. It reveals a mind that has no concept of time or history, a mind that automatically seeks resolutions based on guilt rather than logic.

Frankly, it's hard to believe that any halfway-educated, moderately-aware person could swallow the left's answer to terrorism for even a second. It defies simple common sense. Perhaps that is why the Democratic Party continues to be on the outside looking in.

Given the hysteria and complete lack of vision on the left, one can only hope that it is a trend that continues.
